How to redeem an Xbox digital code
Before redeeming, sign in to the Microsoft account that should receive the content. Check the product region and plan first, because redeemed content is associated with the account used.
1. Check the product details
Confirm the plan, duration, platform and region on your order. Do not assume that Game Pass plans or region-locked codes are interchangeable.
2. Redeem online
Visit Microsoft’s official redemption page while signed in, enter the code carefully, review the item shown, and confirm only if it matches your order.
3. Redeem on Xbox
Open the Store, find Redeem, enter the code, and follow the confirmation screen. The exact menu can vary by console software version.
If you see an error
Check character entry, account and region. Do not post the full code in public or send it to unofficial support accounts. Keep the error message and your order ID for support.
